Dr. Mubin Syed has been in practice in the Dayton and Springfield area over the past ten years. He attended college and medical school at Boston University His diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship training in both Vascular/Interventional radiology and Neuroradiology were at Indiana University Medical Center.In addition to his office practice, he is on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and Dayton Heart Hospital in Dayton and will soon be on staff at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus. He has published several papers on vertebroplasty, and embolization procedures. Furthermore he has taught vertebroplasty to hundreds of physicians throughout the U.S. and Canada.

One of his other areas of expertise is catheter-directed removal of deep vein thrombosis for which he has given several lectures to physicians locally and nationally. In addition his other areas of focus include minimally invasive treatment for back pain, critical limb ischemia to prevent amputation, as well as uterine fibroids. Together with Dr. Morar he hopes to introduce the public to minimally invasive treatment that are on the cutting edge of medicine.
